my mind has been acting pretty flyaway lately, i must admit. im glad to be back on track. personally, i find that i tend to postpone certain negative feelings (eg. disappointment), until later when it manifests itself as something ugly-ish.

but crisis averted. right now i'm enjoying some teh tarik (which of note, always seem to be present on good days like today) and just getting on with it.

cute quote from glamour magazine, on 15 rules/quotes for married women (i'll take that as any woman in a relationship hehe):
"an older woman told me something that stayed with me. i asked her how she stayed married for so long. her reply: 'we never both fell out of love at the same time'. i love that, because no matter how much we want to deny it, there are times we want to kill our husbands - and vice versa. but as long as someone is trying, then you can make it!"
fantastic advice. gosh i love glamour. i am so going to miss uk & eire magazines when i go home. hehe there. my first proper admission of going home for good ni. hecks.

anyways too many digressions. since we're in the topic of quotes, here's one from a junior i'm starting to get very fond of:
"final week being a medical student. woohooo!! mesti exciting sgt kan? good luck with the studies that need to be done k. i'll c u after the drama is over"
thought that was excellent advice anyway. mainly because it is true what she said. that it will be over after that. and we'd be done. we'll no longer be undergraduates (just students of another kind, urgh). ill be out of college. that i'd be out in the real world. that i'd be a doctor. the thought of that is making me tachycardic.

and ironically those were my exact sentiments when i was in third year and the roomate kak farina & co were done with their finals and seem to be nonchalant more than anything. i was wondering why they weren't rejoicing at being done with college, of being doctors. why they aren't as happy as i thought they would be.

with greater clarity i now believe they were probably just swarming in the post-exam fatigue and maladjustment of just being done with a huge chunk of their lives. they were probably happy, but just tired. or maybe they're not like me. i like to celebrate :)

anyways that makes for a long update. 4 days to exams and only mildly freaking out. all im asking is to stay this composed all the way till thursday. pray for me!

toodledoo, doodledums.
