i wish i could plead for temporary insanity.

i have been giving it some thought for the past few days, and yet i forget to actually put that down in words. and im having a good moment right now, and decided that i shouldn't have to wait for the next time i go bananas to say what's true.

and the managing to buy some train tickets for the family trip brings me some joy. makes it somehow more real that they're coming. and its all gonna happen. whoopers.

a great moment today was listening to friends recalling their so-called ghost scare during one of their trips to prague. can't remember when i laughed like that last.

and the most killjoy moment was this strange epiphany i had in the kitchen whilst frying eggs that it would be a strange, strange thing, at this stage of my life, to be worried that people thought i was stupid. perhaps not low-IQ stupid, but light-in-the-head kinda stupid. which makes absolutely no sense i guess, since i'm here and all. and doing this and all. and yet, the flawed creature that i am, still, somehow, worries that they do.

strange, this life.

ps - a string of unexpectedly good movies out of late. i love you phillip morris & kick-ass were fantastic. multiple thumbs up (hehe).
