spent the entire day outdoors so now tired, but not grumpy. tired, though. so very tired.
anyways many a funny and/or contradiction occured today. aim today was to get more yarn, but hickey's went out of stock. went to exchange a dress for a different size, but ended up buying a new dress. went to watch a great movie a second time and it wasn't so great anymore. the boyfriend intended to exchange a faulty guitar pedal for a new one but ended up buying a power cord for it instead. the kitsch shop didn't sell cigarette holders but somehow sold ashtrays. someone bought a lovely aluminium card holder to use to store cigarettes. wanted to just go home and sleep for ireland, but instead only arrived home at 10.
hurrah.
someone told me once, its a human flaw to not be able to tolerate other people's happiness. i used to partially believe that, and now i believe it a bit more. still wont believe it in its entirety because as usual, nothing is an absolute.
but then again the concept is simple and understandable and foolproof. i guess?
and missing so many friends at the mo! huhu. cannot wait to go back home and see some and hug some.
on another note, its just nicer to express some repressed (?) emotions that took 1.5 months to fester. and just brings to self the realization that sometimes people might take a step back as the best decision, but ultimately, the person who forgets,
wins.
