fact that im stuck indoors at 5pm aside, the weather is glorious today! i can just about see the sun streaming in the panelled windows, every piece of dirt and fingerprint and limescale etched on the glass magnified to unusual proportions, the glint at the corner of the door where the glass pane meets the wooden panel, and beyond it the sky a pale, watery blue and in its foreground grey puffy clouds, its edges haloed in iridescent white-gold.since we're also in the topic of strange colours, SJP described her dress at the oscars as an almost-mint. or seafoam. what? i'd hazard a guess of an oddly blueish shade of white.haha i totally ruined that first paragraph with the side-note. but looking outside at the sunshine confirms the fact that spring is upon us. a point i'd imminently take back when its chilly out or perhaps even snow. but at the very least it is within sight, spring. i am asking for not much more than the warmth of the sun on my face and the ability to buy ice cream without the inevitable chill of regret. hehe. im just up for the change, really. :D
