so perhaps it was a long time coming; coz despite my being in-flight for 21 hours just to get back to good old dubs, i didn't get it. yet. i was in denial, shockingly. it was only when i walked down the pavement outside the terminal, pushing three somewhat heavy bags on a trolley, the ground wet with rain, and looked up to the grey-white sky and took in the smell of gravel and wetness that it dawned on me.

i'm back. dem.

its this life, this experience, this papier-mache of moments that im getting back to.

dubs, at least for the next 5 months. hurrah!(?)
