greetings, all.and selamat hari raya aidilfitri. i know i should use Eid-ul-Fitr instead but im genuinely bored of using the term. Eid by my definition has always been what i celebrate here, and thats never the same as aforementioned hari.nyhoo, this has by far been the lamest raya eve. its 20 past midnight and ive only just finished cooking for the do tomorrow. i spose im just desperate for the day to have some recognition. it hurts to have it fly by without notice, what with our heavy academic hours this term.so yes, instead of putting in an 11-hour day in the hospital tomorrow for my plastic surgery rotation, im taking the day off. figures. im near burnout anyways (am not kidding). its timely. and oh, many things to look forward to. 'tis october. already. and im sure there are loads to be grateful for but the mind tires and the eyes droop. particularly after one such culinary escapade. and many apologies for those who i have wronged, intentionally or otherwise. i do try to be the best i can be but i am only human and so very prone to sliding off the beaten track. anyhoo, its raya, so i shan't grumble no more. here's hoping for a good day.
