(excuse the following if looking for an entry with candour and/or seriousness)

sometimes life, like hair, needs straighteners to iron out the kinks (thanks ciara, for inspiring the analogy). its not the best thing to do everyday. it dries out the hair, adds all sorts of insult on top the already tortuous hazards faced by said hair and may even irreversibly damage it. but goodness, does it make hair look (and feel) fantastic.

and so, ideally, they should only be used occasionally for maximum impact and minimum hair damage, ideally being the operative word. but the effect is worth the effort, the time consumed and untimately, the ritualistic precision that hair straightening entails.

bimbotic analogies aside, thanks to seseorang yang tak dikenali for being my straightener. the one thing i needed, well, once every blue moon to remind me to be the very best of me. not all the time or everyday. but just that once. and perhaps many onces in times to come. thanks for reminding me that the person i once was all those years ago is well and truly inside, waiting to come out. or quite possibly, waiting for the right hands to hold the straighteners.

i dont think ill hear from you again anytime in the next few weeks, but when i do, you know what to do.

:D
