i never lied when i told them that it's hard. you wait for 20 minutes for a bus that you cannot miss. you're responsible in finding out where your next meal is coming from. you wait 3 weeks for the next allowance to come when you find out you're broke. you cannot afford at all to be fragile because if you are, you will never be able to make it.

i wish i could say that things would be easier after three years. it isnt.
