im sitting on my bed
facing the evening sun
which i found fascinatingly bright for this time of the day
everything is either
messy or
cleanthe bag of wet clothes half-hung
but the study meticulous and in place
the bed haphazard with Disability notes, microphone, pharm textbook and my bag
but the bathroom is now litter free, the bin re-bagged.
its such a beautiful day out.
a day with so much potential
and ironically, potentially sleep-inducing as well.
its such a beautiful day out
its impossible not to smile despite the odds.
i am potentially relatively rich till next week.
i have finally settled all MARA humbugs.
i have gotten my
presentation out of the way and only have the
folklore essay left.
i have someone with me who makes me smile. almost perpetually.
i have many things to be thankful for and so many reasons to be happy.
i just found out that my father has been diagnosed with a chronic disease for which he is now on meds.
i dont even know how to react to the news.
he didnt even tell me, i got to know from mak.
we're all fooling ourselves with being surprised - ayah is 59 in september with a significant family history of all sorts of diseases.
he is the fittest
OAP i know personally, and that makes it all the more harder to accept.
i am just going to be okay about this. because i dont know how else to be.
for once evrything seems fatal.
like everything will be taken away and there's nothing that anyone could do about it.
its too easy to pretend that im fine and that nothing is wrong and that everything is going to be okay.
i just want to look out at the sunshine.
