it is almost eight in the morning, and the sun is just starting to rise. and the main thought that is effortlessly blinking in my mind (imagine neon lights a-blink) is the rather simple but highly impactual fact that exams are finally, and mercifully, over. hurrah!
last night, for the first time in yonks, i went to bed at a little bit past midnight, and mostly due to the fact that i only slept all of three hours the night before, and many other nights prior. and another effect of this is myself waking up at 4ish, just when myra went to bed, and went downstairs to have toast and shop on ebay. i spent more than an hour downstairs, then proceeded upstairs to try and nap, only to fail disastrously. which brings me here, downstairs, in the maples, enjoying internet and sunrise. hail freedom!
im facing a bowl of maggi+lemon, and a glass of water, the former being 'forbidden' during exam season. im glad to be able to DO things, instead of only imagining them, or only listing them down. its probably best that i wont be working this winter, coz for one im badly in need of some time filled with nothingness, and secondly, next sem is gonna be harsh, what with mnite and everything. crazy talk.
hehe. anyhoo now im listening to the same song over and over again. so much so that even when im in the midsts of answering the exam paper, ill have it in my head. nothing pleases me more this second other than playing air guitar or singing along pretending i have a rock god's voice or thumping along to the bass.
okay NOW im sleepy, and its bright and sunny outside and the makciks dua ekor are possibly still in fetal positions on our armada upstairs. i thought of spending the day out but depending on moods and state of alertness, everything else is abrakedabra.
holiday is magic.
