its spring
and im a different persona
no longer thinking of veils of darkness
completely aware that this might be very temporary

but who feckin cares.
im sitting in my room
heater abuzz.
watching. waiting. not quite wishing.
feeling melancholy.
and slightly, well, normal.
and i smile
tho im not quite ready to be turning twenty
i’ve grown up more in the past five months
than i ever had my whole life
im staring at my blue bunny poster
playing with my copper red hair
sensing my room turning increasingly yellow
and never guessing
what colour my life would be tommorow
